after fatfat and baby had died for quite awhile. it's been feeling so empty at home, and in my heart. everytime when i'm doing work or on the laptop in the living room, i would just look at the hamster cage beside me to look at my cute hamsters. but since they were gone. the space was empty.
on 16th may 2009. i've finally decided to go pet's lovers corner to get my hamsters. first i went over to the pet shop at boon keng, but they were not open. then i went down to vivo's pet safari, but they did not have 5 weeks old hamsters. then i went back to bugis's pet's lovers corner. and they've got 5 weeks old pearl white hamsters!
excited, i bought 2 of the hamsters. i looked for a hard time for a handsome hamster. it's really so hard to look out. then. with such beautiful white fur, and cute look, this fellow caught my eyes! and it's HANDSOME! he's gorgeous! then we call the guy to take handsome out of the cage and into the box because i wanted to buy it.
how we choose fluffy? it's quite a difficult choice. her fur wasn't as pretty as handsome. but she's really very agile! and she look cute too! the guy took out many different pearl white, until i was satisfied with the hamster. and that's how i got fluffy!
then we need to get stuffs for hamster. at first the girl told me to just buy one first, because she said we need to sanitizer, the food stuffs to calm the hamster down but i did not really want to buy it. she said until i feel so bad, because what she say is important, but it keeps revolving around my dead hamsters.
but then i took out my money, and use it to buy whatever that's necessary and what the girl said. lucky my boyfriend was there. because his birthday is 2 days later. so he apply for the pets lover's corner card. and had some discount. one hamster cost about 18 bucks.
then i bought the hamsters home, and settle them down in their new home. fluffy was so active! she kept climbing up and down the metal bars. handsome as well. up and down, up and down, then dropped! then i took them out to play that day. and i keep looking at fluffy's underside, because i thought she was a male hamster! i was so worried that i called my mother. (because i wanted a male and a female hamster so that they could reproduce)
then that very same day, but at night, me and my mother bring fluffy over to the pet shop again to check with the shop. i kept thinking, if she's really a male hamster, should i change her? because she's really too active and fun to play with. but lucky she turned out to be a female hamster. thank goodness! i didn't have to change her away!
